The Spout Springs Repeater Association Field Day Event is near! We begin at 11 AM on Saturday morning June 23rd, and conclude 24 hours later, at 11 AM Sunday morning, June 24th. Please join us!

We are operating from a private residence in the SE Kennewick (Finley) area. Traveling South on SR 397, turn East (left) onto Finley Road, look for 2058 PRSE on your right and turn south (right). It is about 1/3 mile off of SR 397. Travel (slowly please) to the end of the gravel road to the Field Day event. The address is 10642 South 2058 PR SE.  This is a gravel road, and we are asked to PLEASE observe the 10 MPH speed limit.The talk-in frequency will be Simplex 146.460 MHz. We will begin set up Saturday at 7:00 AM. There is plenty of shade and cooling at this outdoor event. We are planning to operate 4 individual HF bands simultaneously. Computer logging will be in place at each station making all of your contacts simple to record.

This is your personal invitation to attend the SSRA’s Third Annual Field Day Event!

Please, feel free to join us and experience the thrill and excitement of hundreds of amateur radio contacts! No HAM license? No problem! Newly interested ones and seasoned veterans are all welcome to participate. Several licensed amateur radio operators will be present to assist everyone in contacting other stations on the air.

Spend an hour, or spend the night! Bring a lawn chair, umbrellas, pillow/cot or tent, and plan on experiencing your first 100+ contact day on the amateur bands! We will be operating 24 hours, straight through the night. Ample shade, restrooms, and parking is available. A complimentary lunch with beverages will be served on Saturday at 2 PM. We will be serving BBQ'ed Hamburgers & Beef Hot Dogs, Chips and drinks, while pizza is planned for dinner. We would sure enjoy seeing you there.

***Parents with young children, please be mindful that this is a private residence and the equipment on site is expensive and fragile. Please monitor your younger ones at this PUBLIC event. Be sure to sign our guest register on site, and ask any and all questions you might have. Most importantly, ENJOY!

Thank you for considering participating in your Associations 3rd ANNUAL FIELD DAY! We look forward to seeing you there!

Sincerely;
