Trevor Macduff is a science teacher in Richland as well as a recent recipient of his General license, KS1LAS. He started launching Mid-Altitude Balloons in partnership with local ham operators for the educational value in his classroom and quickly began working to connect more Ham operators with educators to make MAB launches more pervasive in the classroom. In addition to his previous balloon launches, he has received a grant through his non-profit, SILAS Education, to coordinate a global launch on the Equinox with 15 educators worldwide from 5 different continents. Trevor loves to dream big, build partnerships, and see amazing things happen for the classroom and community.
